David Begoun is a licensed Israeli tour guide, Orthodox rabbi, journalist, and educator who lives in Jerusalem and walks its streets every day. He holds a master's degree in Middle Eastern and Jerusalem Studies from Hebrew University.
Israel Take 3 is his home for podcast documentaries, essays, photography, and study of modern Israel — the return of the Jewish people to the land of our ancestors, told from the ground.
The podcast covers the story of modern Israel in careful, well-researched episodes. The blog picks up where the podcast leaves off — reflections from daily life in Jerusalem. And the Jerusalem Academy is a year-long online course through 3,000 years of the city's history.
